An inside look at the United States Colored Troops:  Learn what it was like to serve in the United States Colored Troops during the time of the Civil War. Charles "Ben" Hawley, a member of the 54th Massachusetts Re-Enactment Regiment, will talk about the U.S. Colored Troops; the struggle to fight for their own freedom, what it was like to serve, and their fight to get equal pay, equipment and respect, as they answered President Lincoln's call for help to save the Union.

The Civil Rights Movement:  From Emmett Till to the March on Washington:  From historical scholars to the "man and woman on the street," there are a variety of differing ideas as to how and when the Civil RIghts Movement began. Join Karen Samara, a Pennsylvania State University graduate, in a discussion on the highlights of the Movement from the summer of 1955 - 1963.
